Meet The Team
MEET THE TEAM.
Every member of staff at onePT has been carefully recruited not only for their technical knowledge, qualifications and expertise but also on their personality and ability to engage and communicate with clients of all ages and abilities.
Every member of staff is inducted, guided and mentored via our own onePT Academy in the culture, philosophies and values of onePT; as well as the different systems, to ensure each member receives the best quality knowledge, coaching, experience and highest level of service and care.
Equally, all Personal Trainers undertake a Continual Professional Development Programme that will ultimately result in them achieving Chartered Status as a Fitness & Exercise Professional – something that has not yet been achieved in the Fitness Industry!
The big thing for onePT is the Team Culture and everyone working together to support the needs of the member and everyone working to the same philosophy whether it is around training or nutrition or simply just helping to keep the gym clean and tidy!
Dr NEIL FELL PhD
After completing my academic journey in Sports Science, I played a key role in the development of Total Fitness Health Clubs. This led to my involvement in setting up and managing the World Class Sports Medicine and Human Performance Facility at St. George’s Park, the training home of the England Football Teams.
Now back in the fitness world, I am really excited about using all of my experiences in developing the onePT concept, and in particular my role here at Rochdale is to get to know every member, find out about their individual goals and ensure we are delivering on our promises.
Personal Trainer / Team Member
I’ve been a personal trainer for nearly 4 years, and I’m also qualified in Zuu training, gym based boxing and circuit training.
My passion is powerlifting and I love to train people who feel intimidated by the gym/weight lifting, because nothing is more satisfying than watching a client’s confidence and strength grow both on the gym floor and in their personal lives.
In addition to my Level 3 Master Personal Trainer Diploma, I am also qualified in Exercise Referral (Level 3) and Obesity and Diabetes Management (Level 4).
I absolutely love engaging with and coaching clients to help them achieve their own individual targets. Being a Personal Trainer is so much more than just having the technical skills and knowledge.
I've been a level 3 Personal trainer for 5 years and have been coaching people of all ages and abilities for over 10 years.
I'm also qualified in suspension training, Zuu, Iron Zuu and Advanced functional training. The reason I am a personal trainer, is because I get a real buzz out of helping people move better and be pain free, whilst gaining confidence, knowing they are working towards their goals.
Team Member / Personal Trainer
After starting as a Team Member with onePT and completing my Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training through the onePT Academy, I am now really excited to be working with clients and helping them achieve their goals whilst balancing my work life with my two beautiful young children.
One of my personal goals is to run the London marathon. I've run a couple of half marathons which are certainly challenging but I know I can achieve it, if I put all the hard work in.
Team Member / Personal Trainer
After completing my Sports Coaching Degree at University, I really wanted to move into the Health & Fitness Industry. I completed my Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training in January and I am now really enjoying working with my clients.
One of my personal goals is to become a little bit more flamboyant in the kitchen as my favourite post workout meal is simply chicken with loads of veg – which isn’t a bad start!!
As a former professional Rugby League player for the Huddersfield Giants and Hunslet Hawks, I have always loved training – trying to be the best athlete I could be - and always looking at the key aspects of training, nutrition and recovery that would benefit my career.
With a passion for fitness, and wanting to help others achieve their own personal goals, the natural progression for me after finishing my playing career was to become a Personal Trainer and utilise the experiences I have gained. After graduating through the onePT Academy, I can’t wait to start engaging with and coaching members here at onePT Rochdale.
I have recently completed my Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training at Hopwood Hall College Fitness Academy, prior to which I studied Sports Science there for 2 years. I can't wait to put my skills and knowledge into helping people achieve their health and fitness goals here at onePT.
I am very interested in diet and nutrition and I am a big sports fan, in particular football and I am a season ticket holder at Bury FC. I aspire to work in the elite sports industry and have recently applied to study Sport and Exercise Sciences at Manchester Metropolitan University so I can develop my knowledge further.
I have recently completed my Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training at Hopwood Hall College and I will continue to complete my Level 4 Course in Strength & Conditioning whilst I develops my skills as a Team Member.
I believe that I am a very, considerate, humorous, friendly and determined person. I have always been a sports and fitness enthusiast regularly getting my friends to join me on runs or to have a friendly kick about at the local astro-turf. My passion is Personal Training and my goal is to help you achieve your fitness goals.
Sports Massage Therapist
After recently completing my BSc (Hons) in Sports Rehabilitation, I have an excellent understanding of musculo-skeletal injuries and I always complete a short assessment to understand where the problem may be coming from before I start any massage treatment, and can give further guidance to work with your Personal Trainer.
I have been very fortunate during my studies and career to spend time with some of the leading physiotherapists and practitioners in elite sport in the UK which has helped me to develop my knowledge further. I always like to stay up to date with the latest research to ensure clients are moving in the right direction and reaching their goals, and this September I will be starting my Masters (MSc) in Physiotherapy.
