Dr NEIL FELL PhD
Co-Founder
“I have always loved sport and being active – you couldn’t help being active growing up on a farm, and it makes me smile now when every Personal Trainer or Strength & Conditioning Coach talks about functional fitness – I was flipping tyres and carrying bales of hay (Farmer’s Walks) from a very young age!! JOHN CARROLL
Co-Founder, Director, S & C Coach
“Having started training at 15, I have always had a keen interest in sport & exercise. I was offered a place on the Science & Football degree at LJMU in 2003, but life got in the way – (luckily Dr Fell had left by then) – and I started a part-time job at Asda as a picker and packer at Christmas but ended up staying for 13 years with various roles, finishing as a Transport Department Manager. But my calling lay elsewhere. Whilst at Asda I started attaining my fitness qualifications gaining my Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training as well as qualifications in Exercise Referral (Level 3) and Obesity and Diabetes Management (Level 4).

“I love working and engaging with onePT members of all different backgrounds and with varied goals. This makes the experience for the client and myself even more unique, and the client’s fitness journey even more special. I also aspire to work in the elite sport industry, and alongside working at onePT I have spent time with Salford City Lionesses as their Strength and Conditioning coach, and I am currently coaching at Bury AFC which is an awesome experience and allows me to combine gym based fitness with sporting elements for the onePT clients too!”

KALLEN O'MALLEY
Team Member / Personal Trainer
“After completing my Sports Coaching Degree at Edge Hill, University, I really wanted to move into the Health & Fitness Industry, and completed my Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training through onePT. I have gained enormous experience working here at onePT over the last 5 years, being mentored by the likes of John & Neil and learning how to get the best out of people with different personalities and goals. I absolutely love delivering sessions and classes; but the best part of the job is building a rapport with my clients and other members. As John, says it is not like coming to work here at onePT.”
