WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF PERSONAL TRAINING?
As part of your membership with onePT, you will receive one inclusive Personal Training session each month with your assigned Personal Trainer.
To help you achieve your goals, it may benefit you to book some additional PT sessions – you can book either an additional 3, 7 or 11 sessions per month as part of our PT packages – and you can top up with further sessions as required.
Equally, small Group PT packages are also available where you can train with up to 3 people with your Personal Trainer, either 1 or 2 sessions per week. The Small Group PT packages are ideal for a couple to train together but still follow an individualised training programme.
A personalised plan typically gives you better results than just training on your own or following a general programme you have read in a magazine or given to you by a friend because the programme will be tailored to fit your needs and lifestyle as well as your likes and dislikes. You need to enjoy what you are doing!

EXTRA COACHING
Your personal trainer will be on hand to ensure you perform each exercise in the correct form during your routine and provide assistance especially if you are becoming fatigued.
Your personal trainer will be there to ensure you complete that last repetition or finish the last couple of minutes and not give up too early.

MOTIVATION
Regular sessions with your personal trainer enhance your motivation to continue with a workout regimen. Even if you don’t use your personal trainer for every session, knowing that you’ll meet with your trainer soon will motivate you during workouts.
You will also get the satisfaction of showing your PT the improvement you’ve made as your exercise programme proceeds.

ACCOUNTABILITY
Another common problem is a lack of commitment to a regular exercise programme. When you exercise on your own, it is often easier to skip a session here and there or fall off the wagon completely since there’s no one to hold you accountable for your actions.
When you work with your Personal Trainer, they will keep you accountable, making it more likely that you will stick with your training programme.

VARIETY
Your personal trainer will teach you a variety of exercise methods and if a specific exercise does not work for you, the trainer can change it to one that suits you better and provides the same physical benefits.
Your PT will also help you to make adjustments as your fitness level improves to ensure continued progress. Some days you may just need a complete pick up and your Personal Trainer can provide you with a fun, but safe and effective session that really gets the body’s endorphins flowing!!.
